1. About Explore Trips
Explore Trips curates and promotes group experience travel: surf, kitesurf, wingfoil, yoga, expedition and culture, in northeast Brazil and international destinations. Every trip on the calendar is run by partner instructors and operators, identified on each trip page. By booking, you agree to the terms below.
2. Who operates the trips
Every trip on the calendar is run by partners: instructors, schools and operators identified on each trip page. Operation and responsibility for the trip belong to the operator. Explore Trips handles curation, promotion, the connection between traveller and operator, and follow up, without operating the trip. Each trip page carries the name, the licence where applicable and the contact of whoever operates it.
3. Bookings and payment
Your spot is held once a deposit is paid, with the amount and deadline informed at the time of booking for each trip. The balance is paid according to the agreed schedule. We accept PIX, bank transfer and card instalments. International trips may offer payment in dollars via Wise or PayPal.
4. What is included
Each trip page details what the price covers: accommodation, meals, lessons, transfers and other items. Anything not listed as included, such as international flights, travel insurance, meals outside the agreed plan and personal expenses, is the traveller's responsibility, unless stated otherwise.
5. Cancellation policy
Each trip follows its operator's cancellation policy, which is provided before booking and summarised on the trip page. Deadlines and percentages vary from operator to operator, and on trips with international suppliers (flights, event tickets, non refundable accommodation) the supplier's policy may take precedence. Read the policy of your chosen trip before paying the deposit. If in doubt, message Explore and we will clarify it with the operator.
6. Changes and cancellation by the operator
Cancelling or rescheduling a trip is the responsible operator's decision, and follows the policy they provide at booking. Usual reasons are insufficient participants, weather conditions, force majeure or safety concerns. Explore follows the process and helps sort it out.
7. Travel insurance
For international trips, travel insurance is mandatory. For domestic trips, it is strongly recommended. Explore Trips is not liable for medical expenses, lost luggage or incidents that would be covered by insurance.
8. Responsibilities and risks
Activities such as surf, kitesurf, wingfoil and trekking carry inherent risk. Participants must disclose relevant health conditions before the trip and follow the safety instructions of instructors and local guides at all times.
